For this assignment, I filled all the drinking vessels I chose with water.
My first vessel was a watering can.
It worked! The spout acted almost as a straw, and I enjoyed the overall drama of drinking from a watering can. I felt closer to my houseplants after.
Rating: 9/10 (Because there is always room for improvement)
My second vessel was a trick or treat basket, circa 2005. Although the form is essentially the same as a cup at a larger scale, this did not work very well. It was heavy and difficult to hold, and also spilled water all over me.
Rating: 4/10
My third drinking vessel was this serving dish/platter.
This vessel sucks. Its only redeeming quality is the lip, which is smooth and potentially could be nice to drink from–if it were on literally any other object. The main problem is the width of the form, which doesn't allow the water to flow nicely into your mouth. There is no way to drink out of this without spilling it everywhere. Rating: 0/10

I don't know why I didn't think of it earlier, but the watering can seems like a very good thing to drink out of. 10/10 will try.
